Extensive Preparation: We dedicated significant time to stabilizing the render and treating the weathered wood, ensuring a solid foundation for the finish.
Restoration Excellence: By combining patience, care, and the right technical knowledge, we didn't just cover up the damage—we restored the property to a standard that is, in many ways, better than new.

Even a "lovely thatched cottage" can hide structural issues. On this project, we found the base of the front door was heavily rotted. A quick lick of paint might have hidden the problem for a month, but we believe in doing things properly.
Our Restoration Process:
Deep Repair: We raked out all the rotten, wet timber to get to the "root of the problem."
Stabilization: After ensuring the wood was completely dry and sanded smooth, we applied a specialist resin wood filler. This system is incredibly durable—it’s designed to outlive the door itself!
The Finish: We applied a full exterior paint system to protect the door against the elements.
To complete the transformation, we also refreshed all the windows, inside and out. The result is a protected, beautiful home and a delighted client.
